Iain MacPherson - Ghost of Marley
Iain Macpherson enjoys a multi-faceted career as a singer, choral conductor, violinist and teacher. Pre-pandemic performances include the roles of Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte (Spring 2020, University of Ottawa, Sandra Graham); Araldo in Handel’s Rinaldo (Nov. 2019, Norman Brown); and General Krebbs in Andrew Ager’s Fürerbunker. In concert, he was the featured tenor soloist in Mozart’s Requiem and Mass in C, (Marg Stubington). A proficient violinist, Iain currently leads the second violins of the Strings of St. John’s (Mehdi Javanfar).

When not on stage, Iain serves as the Music Ministry Coordinator of Rideau Park United Church, conducting the Chancel Choir and Joyful Noise children's choirs (when not in COVID lockdown!). An experienced teacher, Mr. Macpherson maintains a studio of voice and violin students.
